Meet LaVie

LaVie, nee Charline, was born the summer of 83. She was raised by her Haitian immigrant parents along with her brother and two sisters. LaVie discovered her love for music at a young age, to which she recalls, “My sister Sandrine and I use to watch Whitney Houston videos on VHS and sing into my mother’s hair brushes”. Now she herself is a proud parent of a teenage daughter and identical twin boys, who also have a great love for music.

In 2009, LaVie, released her first album titled “Life Music”, filled with Inspirational/Soul music. The release party was filled with friends, family and supporters from the Dade, Broward and Palm Beach areas. Since the release of her debut album, she has continued creating music, releasing her single "Alive", which has become an instant fan favorite, touching the hearts of every listener since 2014 and even now.  

LaVie released “Human”, featuring Recording Artist Giel and Singer/Songwriter Kristine Alicia in 2015. Taking her music across the nation in 2015 on The Maestro East Coast Tour, LaVie toured 10 major cities including New York City, Boston, D.C., Chicago, Detroit, and Pittsburgh. Opening for son of Bob Marley, KyMani Marley, LaVie performed for thousands of enthusiastic fans. Channeling her Caribbean heritage, LaVie released her newest single "Queen" in July 2016.

All of LaVie's music is available wherever digital music is sold. 

LaVie was also a part of Jazz in the Gardens in 2016 sharing the stage with Usher, Janelle Monae, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Fred Hammond, the Average White Band, Regina Belle and many more. 

As creator and host of Ventilate and Vibe, a video log sharing the thoughts and stories of creative’s, LaVie illustrates that it's about more than the gift.

From her vivacious stage performances to her infectiously rapturous personality, LaVie is a shining example of living life to the fullest! With such a becoming name, “La Vie,” which in French means “The Life,” she uses her music as a vehicle to encourage and empower all people to seek out and experience “the life” that God intends for all to have!

LaVie is also the Founder and President of Give Thanks, Inc, 501(c)(3), non profit organization geared towards providing social services for children in need.
